Parents' Association

The Parents’ Association is a charity run by a small group of St John's School parents. We
provide social events and fundraisers for pupils and their families while raising much-needed
funds for the school.

Our events include:

● Doughnut Fridays
● Christmas and Summer fair
● Family disco
● Break the rules day

How is the money spent?

The PA raise around £5,000 per year. We have funded
● A forest classroom
● Full school WiFi
● Outdoor gym equipment
● A new sound system in school hall

We are very grateful to all parents, family, friends and staff who come along to support our school throughout the year.

What can parents do to help?

The events each year rely heavily on donations and your support. Without your generosity we cannot go ahead and raise money for the school or put on the events that the kids enjoy. We are always looking for help to run the events as there are only a few of us who are also working so cannot always be around.

Parents can help by asking their employers about this. It may be that your company offer a £ for £ scheme like Barclays or have a community cash scheme available. It is amazing what you can get IF you ask! You might also be able to acquire raffle prizes or items to be auctioned from local businesses you know or contacts that you have. Not all parents are able to attend or help at events so this is another way to do your bit for our school. Please contact us via email at stjohnspfa2023@gmail.com
