Reception places for September 2026, for children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022

We are delighted that you are considering applying for a Reception Place at St John's for your child to join us in September 2026.

Harrow Council co-ordinates the admissions process for all children starting Reception in September.

You can apply in one of the following ways:

• If you live in the London Borough of Harrow, you must apply online via the Harrow Council Website. If you have difficulty with this, please contact Harrow Council School Admissions on 020 8901 2620.

• If you live in a different local authority, you must apply via your local council.

The closing date for applications via the Local Authority is 15th January 2026.

If you still need a Reception place for September 2026, please contact St John's School directly today.

Foundation Places

If you are a Christian and would like to apply for a Foundation Place under Criterion 2 of the Admissions Policy, please complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and give Form R1 (Clergy Reference Form) to your priest or minister to complete. 

The Admissions Policy and additional forms are available at the bottom of this page. The forms must be returned directly to the St John's School Office by 15th January.
