Absence Procedure
If your child is absent you must:
- Contact us before 9.30am on the first day of absence and every day of absence thereafter.
- Please call 0208 954 3978 Option 1 and leave a clear and detailed message. Or leave a message at absence@stjohns.harrow.sch.uk
- Or, you can come into school and speak to the office staff notifying them why your child is absent.
- A written note should be sent on the day the child returns to school explaining the absence. (email notification is acceptable and may be sent to office@stjohns.harrow.sch.uk). On receipt of this note, the school will decide whether to authorise the absence. If no note is received, or the reason offered is unacceptable, absence is noted as unauthorised.
