St John's Vision Video
St John's vision underpins all the values of our school, it allows us to stay wholly committed to strive for educational excellence with a firm foundation established by our Chrisitan ethos. Through our daily collective worship, use of our prayer space, our firm commitment to musical excellence; we are able to celebrate St John's Christian ethos. This video shares a brief snapshot of how this vision is embedded throughout the school, pupils, staff, governors and parents that come together to form our St John's school community.
Ethos
Often, visitors say of our school that it has a ‘good feel’, and this, after just a brief time in the building. We believe that the distinctive characteristic that gives our school the ‘good feel’ factor is due to the Christian ethos which underpins and permeates all we do at St John’s. It is this highly valued and widely shared ethos which makes our school special to us.
St Johns Vision Song
St John’s RE Ambassadors have written a song all about our school vision. They worked hard finding different scriptures which talked about our school values and then they arranged these scriptures into lyrics. Next, they worked out a melody line to put with the words. Once the song was finished, Mrs Ogunniyi taught the song to sing up children and they recorded it. We are so proud of all the children who have taken part in this special project and we really hope you like our song.
