BBC Children in Need

What an amazing experience!

30 children from years 5 and 6 sang their hearts out on Friday night, live on the BBC to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

The children had been working really hard, rehearsing a beautiful rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' by Claire Moore.

During the day, the children arrived in Borehamwood at the Elstree Studios.  After a quick rehearsal in the holding area we were escorted into the studio for a technical rehearsal.  What an amazing sight.

After something to eat, we all made our way back to the studio to prepare for our LIVE performance on the show.

It was so exciting waiting to for our turn to go on.  While we were sitting in the corridor we saw quite a few stars; Marvin and Rochelle, Mel Giedroyc and Graham Norton.

Finally, it was our time to sing.  We only had a couple of minutes to get everyone on the stage and into our places.

Tess Daley introduced the choir and then we began singing. The audience loved the performance.
